Five new IPS officers for the state .. Two are from Telangana
The Central Government of India has allotted five new IPS officers to the state of Telangana. The central government has issued orders allocating five to Telangana and four to Andhra Pradesh out of the total 200 IPS personnel in the 2020 batch. Allocations have been made on the basis of vacancies as on November 2021.
Among the five IPS officers assigned to the state of Telangana are Avinash Kumar (Bihar), Kajal (Uttar Pradesh), Kankanala Rahul Reddy (Telangana), Sivam Upadhyaya (Assam), Sarukonti Seshadri Reddy (Telangana).
Similarly, those assigned to the Andhra Pradesh cadre include Varshita Adepu (Odisha), B Aditya (Rajasthan), Abhishek Andasu (Rajasthan), Kota Kirankumar (Bihar), Chilumula Rajinikanth (Maharashtra). *
