Telangana Half Day Schools Time Table 2026 (From 15 March) – TS School Morning Session Timings

The School Education Department has issued an important notification regarding the functioning of schools in the state for the academic year 2025-26. According to the instructions given to all Regional Joint Directors of School Education (RJDSE) and District Educational Officers (DEOs), half day schools will start from 15 March 2026.


Half Day School Timings

All Primary, Upper Primary and High Schools under the following managements will follow half day schedule:

  • Government Schools
  • Government Aided Schools
  • Private Management Schools

The schools will function according to the following timings:

  • School Timings: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Mid Day Meal: 12:30 PM

Effective Dates

The half day schedule will be implemented from:

  • Start Date: 15 March 2026
  • Last Working Day: 23 April 2026

Special Classes for SSC Students

Special classes will continue in schools to help Class 10 students prepare for the SSC Public Examinations – March 2026. These classes are meant to support students in revision and exam preparation.


Special Timing for SSC Exam Centres

Schools which are allotted as SSC Examination Centres will follow different timings during the examination days:
