Telangana: Physical classes in schools .. State Government has issued guidelines ..


 About 16 months later, schools in Telangana reopened on September 1.  With the High Court issuing several key orders in the wake of the Corona Third Wave, the government has allowed all schools and welfare schools, except government residential schools, to teach directly in tribal welfare schools.  It is in this context that the state government has recently issued guidelines on precautions to be taken to prevent Kovid infestation in educational institutions following High Court orders.  All types of educational institutions are required to implement these.

 Here are the guidelines that educational institutions should follow.

 * Physical distance must be observed.

 * Students and teachers should always wear masks.

 * Frequent hand washing with soap and use of sanitizer is mandatory.

 * Regular monitoring of student health should be done.

 * Prohibition on mixing on school premises.

 * Students need to be told through online classes if they want to stay close and study.

 * Physical attendance is not mandatory.

 * The school principal must focus on the students who are lagging behind.

 * Bridge courses should be implemented if required.

 * Ensure that a friendly atmosphere is created on the school premises.

 * No penalty should be imposed on parents or student if children are not sent to school.

 * School assembly, group discussions, games are not allowed until further orders.
 * Thoroughly inspect the kitchen during Mid Day Meals.

 * Measures should be taken to ensure that food rich in nutrients is available to students.

 * Physical distance near kitchen room, dining hall, drinking water is mandatory.

 * Physical distance is mandatory for students at entry and exit times.

 * Kovid rules must be followed during transport.

 * Textbooks should be provided to every student.

 * Students should not share pencils, pens, books, food, water bottles, glasses, plates etc. with each other.
