Telangana Schools Change Timings for Ramadan 2025 – New Schedule Announced
The Telangana State Education Department has announced revised school timings for Urdu Medium Schools and Urdu Medium Sections in parallel medium schools and DIETs during the holy month of Ramadan 2025.
New School Timings for Ramadan 2025
Effective Dates: March 2, 2025 – April 1, 2025 (Both Days Inclusive)
Revised Timings: 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Applicable to:
All Urdu Medium Schools
Urdu Medium Sections in Parallel Medium Schools
Urdu Medium Sections of DIETs (District Institutes of Education and Training)
Compensation for Lost Working Hours
To ensure that students do not miss out on academic hours, the following measures will be implemented:
Upper Primary and Secondary Schools – Required to work one extra day.
Primary Schools – Required to work an extra half hour on two working days.
Instructions for Schools and Educational Authorities
District Educational Officers (DEOs) and Regional Joint Directors of School Education (RJDSE) in Hyderabad & Warangal must inform all school Headmasters and Principals about the revised timings.
Schools must ensure strict implementation of these new timings while making up for the lost hours.
This move aims to support students and staff observing Ramadan while ensuring uninterrupted academic progress.
