📡Should you file ITR even if you are not in tax range?✍️

➡️Paying tax and filing ITR are two separate legal obligations. So it is better to file ITR even those who do not have taxable income._

ðŸ’¥Income tax people are busy in filing their returns (ITR Filing). All of them have to file their IT returns by the specified deadline of July 31. Non-taxable persons do not care much about filing these returns. However, experts suggest that they should also file nil returns within this period.
➡️Generally those whose annual income is less than Rs.2.50 lakhs are not required to file tax returns. If you have deducted tax at source (TDS) from your investment income, you must file returns (even if the income is less than Rs. 2.50 lakhs) to get the refund. Deductible TDS cannot be recovered if returns are not filed. Also, tax returns have to be filed on some other important occasions. Let's see that now..

When is Nil ITR? Why file?

 1. When the gross income is more than the exemption limit: Even if the taxable income is less than the basic exemption limit, returns should be filed if the gross income is more than the basic exemption limit. For example, suppose your gross income is Rs.4 lakhs. Taxable income after deducting exemptions and deductions is Rs.
