TOSS SSC INTER COURSE ADMISSION FOR 2022-23

All the District Educational Officers in the State are informed that the admissions into SSC and Intermediate courses under Telangana Open School Society(TOSS) will commence from for the Academic Year 2022-23, 

District Educational Officers are requested to elucidate courses available in SSC(144) and Intermediate(t5+) in TOSS for School dropouts and others who discontinued their school education due to Socio-Economic reasons during the District level convergence meeting under the Chairmanship of the District Collector & Magistrate and Chairman of Telangana Open School Society Executive Board, before 15/07/2022 and request them to disseminate

 opportunities available in TOSS to the employees working without SSC/Intermediate qualifications in their control. Further request all the District Ileads to extend their cooperation for the Enrolment Drive ror mobilizing vanous stakeholders of their departments viz. Self Help Groups. Anganwadi workers, Mahila Pranganam. Police Home Guards. Juvenile Ilomcs, Central Prison inmates. Madrasas. Auto Umons, Dnvers. Village Assistants, Artisans. Class-IV employees, Employees working in Industries, Voluntary Organisations. etc. in the distnct.

The District Educational Offccrs arc requested to chalk out an action plan and execute it without any deviation:

1. To enroll all the dropouts who discontinued their studies,

2. To take admissions of the students who discontinued their studies in the 10th class and those who have completed 14 years of age without going to school.

3. To use pnnt and electronic medla for publicity.

4. TO display Posters. Pamphlets. and Brochures of TOSS in every office and everywhere.

5. To address meetings conducted by DRDA. DW'CRA. DWMA. WDCW HEALTH. RTO. Distnct Panchayat omcer, TSTRANSCO, and other departments with a request to communicate to all stakeholders to utilize the opportunity of Learning through TOSS.

6. To conduct Virtual meetings(Oricntation program) with Mandal Educational Officers, Al Coordinators, and Head Masters of secondary schools in their districts.

7. To make arrangements to open at least one study center in uncovered mandals.

8. To address letters to Principals of Junior Colleges with a request to communicate the same to intermediate failed students to utilize the opportunity of Learning through TOSS.

9. To issue instructions to Head Masters of High schools with a request to communicate the same to SSC failed students]dropouts to utilize the opportunity of Learning through TOSS.

The publicity material and prospectus will reach the concerned District Educational Offices in due course. They are requested to identify one responsible staff member of his/her office to receive the matenal for administrative convenience.

 The following budget is being allocated to meet the expenditure for the conduct of various activities:

 1.Rs 1500/-to each distnct towards sundry charges/stationary for conduction of convergence meeting.

2. Rs SOO x Number of Districts to District Coordinator as TA/DA allowance to enable him to attend meetings at the new district headquarters,

3. Rs 1000/- to each distrtct towards expenses for distributing Publicity matertal Prospectus to Al Coordinators.

4. Remuneration for DLO & Course Director - Rs DC Course Coordinator-Rs

500/-, One Staff member -Rs 400/-

5. The details of expenditure. Utilization Certificate & bills along with documentation should be submitted after completion of thc drive.

The District Coordinator (Open School) in the office Of the District Educational Officer Mahabubnagar, RangaReddy, Hyderabad. Sangareddy, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Kanmnagar, Khammam. Hanumakonda, and Nalgonda is instructed to appraise all details/activities to District Educational Oiücers and take active participation m all activities planned at the district level and also instructed to assist the Distrtct Educational Officers of newly formed districts in conducting all activities for the Enrolment Drtve and submit a detailed report after completion of the drtve.
