Telangana School Timings Changed for Holy Month – Ramzan 2026
Hyderabad: The School Education Department has officially announced revised school timings during the holy month. The decision applies to Urdu Medium Government, Aided Schools, and DIET Colleges across the state.
📅 Revised School Timings
- New Timings: 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM
- Effective Dates: 19 February 2026 to 20 March 2026 (Both Days Inclusive)
- Applicable To: Urdu Medium Schools and Urdu Medium Sections of Parallel Medium Schools
📌 Important Instructions
- All District Education Officers and Principals must implement the revised timings.
- School heads should compensate academic loss by adjusting working hours.
- Upper Primary and Secondary Schools working like Primary Schools should add extra half-hour on two working days.
