How to improve our English communication Skills after Elec training

💥All of us know that from next academic year onwards, English medium education is introducing in all  of our government schools.Most of our teachers are from Telugu medium background.Our English language competencies are at various levels.ELEC trainings are conducting for improvement of our English competencies.In my opinion,the following points may be useful to enrich our English language so that we are better equipped to teach students in English medium.

➡️1)Active participation in  discussions during ELEC trainings

➡️2)Try to speak in English wherever possible without fear of grammatical mistakes.

➡️3) Reading of children story books

➡️4) Reading of English newspaper daily.We should focus on reading  editorials and letters to newspapers repetitively 2 or 3 times

➡️4) Write letters in English to  newspapers , magazines to express our views presented in newspapers and magazines if possible

➡️5) Reading of primary school English and EVS books of various publishers if available.

➡️6) Listen to all india radio news daily

➡️7) Watching debates on various social issues of various English television channels if possible.

➡️8) Listen to cricket and other sports commentary in English

➡️9)Watching of various YouTube channels

➡️10) Speaking of as much English as possible in our classrooms and staff rooms.

➡️11) Following of LSRW (listening, speaking, reading and writing) formula

➡️12) Focusing on pronunciation of difficult words,new words,key words etc.
